We apply Ferroelectric Liquid Crystal (FLC), a liquid crystal material with extremely fast response speed, to digital displays in various scenarios and even in non-display applications. Our displays can do 1440p at 240Hz and 1080p at 540Hz, effectively reducing dizziness do to head motion.
We can achieve a significant 3-fold improvement in light efficiency (or energy efficiency), and reduce the energy consumption of VR/AR devices by 5 times. For some head-mounted displays that require batteries, it will bring great improvements in terms of overall weight, size, as well as the heat dissipation devices.
FLC can bring a larger pixel aperture ratio and minimize the edge field effect (a phenomenon of unnecessary light distortion at the edge of the pixel), which enables higher pixel density and clearer images in ultra-close screen applications (VR/AR). The pixel density can reach 2000+ ppi (pixel per inch).
Our technical advancements have attracted interest from many first-tier companies in both Mainland China and worldwide. Several of these companies have already entered into cooperation agreements with us to develop specialized applications.
